I stopped using Twitter in November 2022. I marked my account protected, removed my profile picture and changed my display name. I removed all references to my Twitter profile from every other online profile and site that I control. I cleared cookies across all devices, and have not logged in there since. I will not post links to any Twitter content.
This will remain my position while Twitter is owned by Elon Musk who, apart from being yet another unremarkable white man, is also a fascist and a 21st century nazi. This is plain to see and not a “subject of debate.” Since taking ownership of Twitter, he has unbanned innumerable known right wing extremists, and posts nazi references under his own account, such as “88”, which translates to “HH” or, “Heil Hitler”.
There is nothing noteworthy about this man beyond his inherited wealth and his love of authoritarianism. He is not a “genius”, nor is he intelligent.
